I was born a proud product of Oahus’ southern corridor, and with my wife Lehua, raised our family in Kukui Gardens on the Kaliha-Palama side of our District 12. I’ve worked for many years in Hawaii’s economic engine – Waikiki, and continue living and working in the heart of Downtown Honolulu. We’ve all witnessed the growth and diversity of District 12, but, unfortunately, have also seen how representation in the State Senate chamber has diminished over recent years. I offer you a leadership choice.

Being actively involved in community and political issues, I have always encouraged civic engagement. As a former State Chairman for the Democratic Party of Hawaii, I’ve worked closely with all levels of elected officials and candidates to provide Hawaii with leadership choices. But, regardless of party affliation, your elected official represents all constituents. Therefore, with balance and perspective I humbly seek your vote and support.
