I'm 3/4ths Hawaiian and I relate to my Hawaiian side strongly, and I believe it's about time Hawaii has someone who is truly an involved part in the Hawaiian culture and lifestyle representing our District. I'm a bit late on the news but I just found out that Brickwood is co-host on the Hawaiian Radio Channel AM940 called the Na Oiwi Olino show, which means "people seeking wisdom," and the name was chosen for them by kupuna Malia Craver. They address current issues, with a touch of local humor, pertinent to the Hawaiian community such as health and invite speakers from Native Hawaiian Board of Health Papa Olelo Okahi to help bring awareness to the different resources native Hawaiians have.
